idiot couriers
The first in a short series of amusing notices
comments (25)
Ha! Very funny, Ingrid. I wonder if the couriers can read it?
anniedog: I think they could hardly miss it!
Ingrid
It is quite possible the courier might throw the parcel through the window after having read this!
anniedog: It is slightly antagonistic, I agree!
Ingrid
As soon as you change the shape from a circle to a rectangle, all confusion sets in, Ingrid. Don't we all know that???
I can tell this series will be fun.
anniedog: I think I might be confused as well - it took me a while to realise that was a bell!
Ingrid
This is a classic. Where is it? Haha.
Hopw was the exhabition? kensi
anniedog: Hi Kenz - this was spotted whilst on a walk in Bath the weekend before last. The exhibition opening went well thanks. Will catch up next week.
Ingrid
Love it! You wonder what delivery disasters have driven the occupant of flat 3 to this?
anniedog: There must have been a straw that broke the camel's back to drive them to this, I think!
Ingrid
This is so much fun, we have those funny signs in Holland to, but untranslateble into English
anniedog: Thank you Astrid. I always like to keep my eyes peeled for funny stuff!
Ingrid
LOL Ingrid, well spotted and very amusing. Kind regards, Neil.
anniedog: thanks Neil - I couldn't pass this one by!
Ingrid
anniedog: Well, it made me laugh out loud too!
Ingrid
A great capture! The author of the notice is very angry, I wonder what happened afterwards?????
anniedog: I dread to think, but they must have just had enough. You must be freezing - when do you get it fixed?
Ingrid
I take photos of signs too and will love your series.
anniedog: I hope so Mary - just a short series of funny stuff I have seen recently.
Ingrid
Ha, if I were an "idiot courier," I'd never ring that doorbell. Instead I would leave a little slip of paper that I could not find the doorbell and sign it "your idiot courier."
Great start to the series of signs.
anniedog: I would be surprised if they ever got any deliveries ever again!
Ingrid
Very nicely captured Ingrid. I feel that your series will be great fun
anniedog: Thanks Richard - it's good to look on the light side sometimes.
Ingrid
I could imagine you writing this Ingrid!! It's not Mike's flat in Bath again, is it?
anniedog: Well yes, Ian, I think you have got my character pretty well sussed, but this isn't Mike's flat and I didn't write it, though I can sympathise with the sentiments! Just one more example of the stupidity of the general population!
Ingrid
Definitely one to take the parcel back to the warehouse. "Not known at this address" In fact could have been written by the owner of flat 1 or 2 fed up with answering the door for #3!
anniedog: I should the think the idiot couriers have got their own back by now!
Ingrid
Very funny shot !!! Well found ...
anniedog: Thank you Ann - it made me laugh!
ingrid
LOL cool find Ingrid
anniedog: Thanks Tracy - I thought so too. It made me laugh out loud!
Ingrid
Nice fun shot Ingrid. Do you get the feeling that the occupants of Flat 3 are a tad cheesed off with couriers?!!!
anniedog: Yes, you could say that! I think they were wishing to get their message across in no uncertain terms.
Ingrid
This is funny!
anniedog: Thank you Martin - glad to have raised a laugh!
ingrid
Didn't you know Ingrid Couriers don't read useful notices. richard
anniedog: I should imagine that the couriers of Bath have boycotted this particular address!
Ingrid
Wow! What a find. If that doesn't get the message across, I don't know what will.
anniedog: Thanks Mary Beth. You would hope that the message has sunk in!
Ingrid
People will still get it wrong,LOL
anniedog: Yes - it's unbelievable how stupid or unobservant some people are!
Ingrid
Well seen Ingrid, says it all really.
anniedog: Thanks Les. As pithy a piece of writing as I have ever seen!
Ingrid
ROFL! I would be afraid to push it as it might bite back or something!
anniedog: I wouldn't dare either!
Ingrid
Crumbs, well spotted, Ingrid. This is a series then.
anniedog: Spotted in Bath of all places.
Ingrid
That is funny
anniedog: Yes, I thought it was hilarious. These guys must have been seriously annoyed to stick this on the door!
