Discarded and downright creepy, Ingrid. It reminds me of something I posted awhile back that reminded me of Charlie's Seed! UGH. It actually works well with your "Shadows" theme but I'm glad you stuck it here instead.
anniedog: Not a particularly nice image, I agree Ginnie, but it does have a certain atmosphere!
Ingrid
Hammer Horror! Love it Ingrid.
anniedog: Thanks Bill. The lurid lighting is courtesy of fill-in flash. Glad you like it.
Ingrid
Ha I thought it was part of your shadows too, a very scary image, the rubbish on the head make it even more creepy.
anniedog: This was taken in broad daylight, but the effect is from using fill-in flash.
Ingrid
I thought it was part of your shadow serie. Eerie but I love it. Very nice transition to your new theme!
anniedog: thanks Richard. Didn't mean to scare you!
Ingrid
Very discarded... looking forward to the rest of the series.
anniedog: Thank you Frank - a few more to come, but all quite different.

Were can I buy the tickets of the horror show...great and creepy...NO I don't consider myself violent or dangerous and I am in the front row in your theater, Ingrid gringrin
anniedog: You and me both, Astrid, although I do like to have a cushion to clutch on to and to hide my head in when it gets too scary!

And I thought it was a potatoe from the thumbnail, Ingrid. Yet another quality photograph (even I'm getting bored of saying that' There is something disturbing about this despite its innocence.
anniedog: Thank you Chad - I don't get bored of hearing about quality photographs! I agree - I find this very disturbing.

A bit creepy Ingrid but also a little sad. This must have been some little girls favourite "friend" at some time.
anniedog: What a way to end up - the subject of someone's photo blog!
Ingrid
You need to get the ''waking the dead '' team in to get to the bottom of this.

and knowing you a tad Ingrid I guess you found this as shown. richard
anniedog: You are quite right Richard - untouched by human hand, although I did have to lie down on the ground to take this! I have no idea how it came to be beheaded.

Very disturbing..but nicely presented. Gotta say - it kind of give me the creeps.
anniedog: I agree - but I think that is the effect of the lighting, which was quite deliberate.
Ingrid
Oh that is incredibly powerful Ingrid - a belter of a shot!
anniedog: Thanks Chris - all down to the lighting I think, which was fill-in flash.
Ingrid
That's a very Blackdoggian image Ingrid. Are you posting for him during his period in the kennels? And did you by any chance see the 3 min short on C4 tonight (a snail on a doll's head - equally creepy).
anniedog: His would have been black and white though. I didn't see the film - sounds suitably surreal.

superb image Ingrid, one of your best for me, love the stunning light/shadows and oh my the dolls head ha thats just the icing on the cake, quality for suresmile
anniedog: Thanks Tim - the lighting is down to fill-in flash - not something I normally use. The doll's head was just a lucky find.
Ingrid
K9ind of disturbing. Nice one ;-)
anniedog: I agree - but that was the intention!

'Haunting' is the first word that came to mind... just up my alley! Nice one! H.
anniedog: Thanks - glad you approve. I also like this kind of disturbing image.

If it was a b&w, I'd think I'm on the Blackdog's page. And I'd love to see it in monochrome. Might be your future classic shot.
anniedog: I'll have a go at converting it. Somehow I hardly ever think of doing that as I use film for my b/w. I'm doing a whole series of b/w next week.

Bad dream night Ingrid, when I was very young I used to live not far from a doll's hospital and there were always disconnected heads and other body parts lying about, very disturbing. This brings back memories indeed.
anniedog: I wonder if they still exist - I also remember from my childhood - as a very young child I had a doll who came from the doll's hospital - her name was Sandra! I'm sure if you mentioned doll's hospital to children these days, they would think you were mad. If your doll is broken, just chuck her away and get a new one!

Could you post the b&w version in the unassigned, and let me know when you do, please? See, the whole idea of being abandoned is a sad one, and, I think, the monochrome conveys sadness much better than the cheerful colors.
anniedog: Will do Viktor. I should have a bit more spare time now for experimenting as I have finished all my work. You are of course right about monochrome conveying sadness more.
Ingrid
Wow! Great shot! Well done, Ingrid!
anniedog: thanks Jose Angel. It was obviously worth having to lie down on the ground to take this one!
