That's nice Ingrid: the muted tones are effective
anniedog: Thanks Chris - a bit of contrast to yesterday's bright ones.

I like the individuality of each leaf and the different phases of dying in a more or minder beautiful way. Autumn colours in different shades, muted tones, some only touched by sun autumn sun, some once more glowing in the sun, some already sunk in darkness...
anniedog: Very well articulated Philine.

The tones are just beautiful, the focus/DOF is well chosen, these colours do belong to Autumn.
This to me is a likey, thnak you.
anniedog: thanks very much Astrid - I tried hard to get the right DOF for the effect I wanted. I guess it was successful!
I really find the piece just right of centre (with the green, dark brown and whitish leaves)intriguing. It maybe my eyes but it does seem to jump around for me as if having an Escher moment.
anniedog: Whatever turns you on Richard! I can't say I paid that little bit much attention, but then everyone sees somthing different in a photograph.

IT"S very good I like the tones
anniedog: Thank you Vintage.
The detail, colour and the light is good Ingrid. You are making a composition with stuff not normally photographed (some do I know).
anniedog: Well you know me Chad, I like a challenge!

Simply perfect, I particularly like the soft light
anniedog: Thank you BoB - glad you like it.
This appears to be on the woodland floor Ingrid and is very well done considering it must have been in quite low lighting conditions.
anniedog: It's actually just outside my front door so lighting conditions were OK - I just lay down on the ground to take it!

So real I could reach into my screen and pick them up. Wonderful lighting and detail smile
anniedog: Thanks very much - my favourite is the little rolled up brown one next to the main leaf!
Absolutly wonderful Ingrid. Where you lying down when shooting it?
anniedog: I was Richard, but luckily it was just outside my front door, so I didn't get any funny looks!

anniedog: Thanks Tim - I'm rather pleased with them myself!

Lovely delicate colours, gentle decay almost
anniedog: All things must pass - but there is beauty in decay too.
Give me more I like it
anniedog: Thank you Albert - I've got a few more lined up, but none like this.
Ingrid, I could hang this image on my wall, and never tire of it. I love the beautiful natural colours, and the exquiste detail of that curved leaf. Marvellous! (:O)
anniedog: Thanks very much Roz - I seem to remember you did something similar last year. Sometimes it pays to look closely at what's literally under our noses!
My favourite of your series so far Ingrid. Colours, dof, light, comp, texture - it has everything.
anniedog: Thanks Jose Angel - good to see you back. I had to lie down on the ground to take this one!
