This is wonderful Ingrid. I don't know why but I think the DOF helps - or I've got strange drugs in my coffee!
anniedog: Thanks Chris. I didn't really want the background distracting from the pegs. I think you can rest easy about the drugs in your coffee!

You dont need drugs to like this one Ingridgrin
anniedog: I would never put drugs in Chris's coffee!
No more 'sad' poems from me Ingrid (and sad in more ways than one) ;-)
Excellent. richard
anniedog: Glad to hear it Richard! Strange you should have been wandering around DMU this afternoon - so was I! I spent 2 hours sat on the M69 on the way in to Leicester today because of an accident on the M1. Would be good to meet up - after Christmas sounds OK or before if it suits.

Just the thing to hang your clean white T shirt up with. Speaks volumes.
anniedog: Yes - ever wondered what those mouldy, green marks at the bottom of your T shirts were? Now you know!

The DOF dose make this photo appear so wonderful
anniedog: Thanks Vintage - I used the DOF to draw attention to the pegs.
Looks like my washing line. Must get those pegs in for the winter. lol
anniedog: Yes - they'll just keep getting rustier and rustier!
Grotty old pegs but a well seen picture Ingrid, perhaps I might have tried to lose the brown pole in the background one way or another.
anniedog: Thanks Brian - I'm not sure I agree on this occasion - I rather like the verticality of the pole.

This is nice (sorry to say nice). The colours work well and the arrangement of pegs is fascinating. Q. Did you arrange them at all?
anniedog: thanks Chad - nice is perfectly acceptable on this occasion! To answer your question - no, I didn't arrange them. I hardly ever do that, preferring to leave my mark by the way I compose it.

Brilliant, Ingrid. Says so much with such simplicity.

Love the weathering on those pegs. Fantastic lighting smile
anniedog: Yes, the light was catching them perfectly. I think they must have been out there for quite some time!
Superb and original composition Ingrid. Ther lighting is exceptional!
anniedog: thanks Richard - I was certainly lucky with the lighting.
They are old pegs! nice treatment here.
anniedog: thanks Nigel - I think they may have been there some time!

Simple and beautiful. Excellent use of the warm light.
anniedog: Thank you Magnus. It's amazing how even such humble objects as old pegs can be made to look special by light.
