That is the time when it happens for many.
anniedog: Not a very nice thought, but too true unfortunately!

anniedog: Health and Safety regulations obviously don't apply!

How strange to see this wrapped. Presumably to keep the elements away but all the same.
anniedog: I think possibly it was newly delivered and still in its wrapper!

The person who tends this, must want both to be protected smile
anniedog: Double protection, you could say!

This is just bizarre Ingrid
anniedog: Or a possible explanation is that it had just been delivered and was still in its wrapper!

a fine observation! The Madonna who may protect the souls of the humans by her coat and hands (like a Schutzmantelmadonna)has to be protected herself against rain and rough weathers. Admittedly, sometimes I have a little weakness for such kitsch, I think everybody might have a little corner in his/her heart-room (Herzkammer) where he likes to store/storage some kitschy things.
anniedog: I'm quite partial to kitsch but wouldn't like to live with it! I'm glad you spotted the protection aspect - but of course, I wouldn't expect anything less from such an observant lady as yourself!
Very strange, it looks as if it has just been dumped there.
anniedog: I think probably more likely that she was just newly delivered.
My goodness 'shrink wrapped' ... the mind boggles.
anniedog: Even the Madonna needs protection from the elements!
I would have taken the statue out of the bag Ingrid... i am sure that the weather would not hurt it... i like your framing with the double heart head stone....petersmile
anniedog: Thanks Peter, but maybe even the Madonna needs protection from the elements!
Nice. Weird and beautiful.
anniedog: Thanks - cemeteries are full of the weird and wonderful.
