little patch of sunshine 06
comments (16)
More like a lightening streak ;o)
anniedog: Yes - I suppose patch isn't a word that describes this well, but you get my drift.
Ingrid
This is my favourite!
anniedog: Thanks Mine - I like this one too!
Ingrid
Does Mike see himself as a lightning streak when he's with you, Ingrid??
anniedog: I think he is being metaphorical, Ginnie!
Ingrid
Like Harry's scar ... Nice texture and beautiful colour !
anniedog: I never thought of that - a good simile. I love this colour too.
Ingrid
Beautiful texture and mood in this one - simple and effective
anniedog: Thanks Aksel - I'm glad the mood I wanted to create has come across.
Ingrid
A ray of sunshine.
LOL at Ginnie
anniedog: I shall have to remind Mike of that! Thanks Tracy.
Ingrid
Another good one. What I like about this series is that it works as a series but, so far, each picture stands on its' own merits too
anniedog: Thanks Bill. Sometimes I piece a series together after I have taken the photographs, so they are not all taken at the same time. It is only afterwards that I find the connection. This is one of those occasions.
Ingrid
That is quite intriguing, Ingrid. Like a fontana (is it?) slit canvas.
anniedog: I had a look on the web at Fontana's work - I can see how you thought of the similarity.
Ingrid
Mine likes this one because it reminds her of bed, one of her favourite places! I know, I know... I'm pushing my luck!
anniedog: You really are, Ian! It must be something to do with the deep folds - I know what she means.
Ingrid
This series gets better & better Ingrid!
anniedog: Thank you Chris - praise indeed from the maste of series!
Ingrid
This reminds me very much of that magazine advert for 'silk cut' cigerettes from at least 30 years ago.
It was an ambiguous and very risque advert involving purple satin with a thin cut down the fabric !!! ... I shall say no more. richard
anniedog: I remember it well - I used to smoke them!
Ingrid
Beautiful and delicate Ingrid. I like the subtle sunray!
anniedog: Thank you Richard - just a case of observation and catching it at the best time.
Ingrid
so well seen and delivered Ingrid, is Mike under there? classic series.
anniedog: No - it's not big enough. This is a cushion and he's 6'4"!
Ingrid
This is very well spotted, love the texture and the colour, I am amazed that you have so many different objects and each is so captured with so much love.
anniedog: Thanks Astrid - I suppose I just see my immediate surroundings and make the most of them! I always try and keep an eye open for unusual light.
Ingrid
Dark and moody red color and a hint of light, beautiful.
anniedog: Thanks Magnus - I like the deep red colour too - it is very sensuous.
Ingrid
wonderful!!
anniedog: thanks Arash.
