Beautiful lighting on this Ingrid
anniedog: Thanks Aussie - the moment I saw this I had to rush back into the house and get my camera!
Ingrid
The colour on this reminds me of the colour some slides went after a year or two. when I tried one of those cheap slide films in the seventies! I like the idea of a fence shadow on another fence.
anniedog: I can assure you this is all natural, early morning light! The fence on fence is a neat idea isn't it?
Ingrid
Fence on a fence. Clever stuff Ingrid.
anniedog: Yes, Ian, but I had little to do with it - it was just there!
Ingrid
Very clever Ingrid: one of your best ever!
anniedog: Thanks Chris - high praise indeed!
Ingrid
A fence on a fence. Great idea Ingrid. I love the colour tones!
anniedog: Thanks Richard - I thought it made a good subject for a photograph.
Ingrid
Clever little thing aren't you Ingrid ... ;-) richard
anniedog: I try my hardest Richard! Thankyou.
Ingrid
This is the lighting I like, this is a very well spotted and captured fench, did you wait for the right time???
I do hope you brought some koffie with you... No Ingrid, just teasing, I love ths picture, a likey to me.
anniedog: Thanks Astrid. This is actually the drive to my house. It was taken before breakfast, so no coffee, earlier this spring!
Ingrid
Looks like a fine evening in the sun, well seen Ingrid.
anniedog: Thanks Les - it's actually early morning but it does have the look of evening sun, probably because of the very warm tones of the wood.
Ingrid
Almost looks like a split-rail fence up against a stockade one. Love the rhythm of this..broken up by the trees.
anniedog: Thanks Marcie - two separate fences either side of the drive. Just a lucky moment!
Ingrid
Good picture Ingrid, like the others the idea of a fence on a fence is unusual, and the low sun helps with the lighting.
anniedog: Thanks Brian, this was taken just after sunrise so the sun was very low.
Ingrid
super duper stuff Ingrid, you really know ow to spot a good shadow for sure, great one
anniedog: Thanks Tim - I always find shadows so interesting, so am constantly on the lookout for good ones!
Ingrid
Rich and luxurious, Ingrid. Fabulous lighting!
anniedog: Thank you Ginnie - the colours certainly are rich. Glad you like it.
Ingrid
Wonderful colours. I get a warm feeling, which given it is 10 degrees here in Melbourne, I can do with any warmth I can get.
anniedog: Thanks Brian. I always find it hard to imagine it being cold in Australia! Glad to have warmed you up.
Ingrid
I think I missed this one, Ingrid. Very well composed. I like the shadow, yes, but also the warm sunny tones and the line of the fence top. Then there is the blue of the sky behind the trees. Tray be anne.
anniedog: Glad you spotted the blue - I think it is an essential component as it goes so well with the rich golds. Mercy bucket.
Ingrid
Fence on a fence, short on tall, gapped on solid: excellent composition.
anniedog: Well spotted with all your observations! Glad you approve.
Ingrid
well composed
anniedog: Thanks very much DrAW.
Ingrid
This must have been taken in the late afternoon when the sun spreads its butter gold on the world.
anniedog: It was actually taken very early in the morning shortly after sunrise - but I think the warmth of the wood makes it look more like evening.
Ingrid
This is a very clever image well spotted. Feels very warm well done.
anniedog: Thanks very much Scotia - glad you like it.
Ingrid
Oh, you disappoint me Ingrid. I thought you'd built that fence
anniedog: I have many talents, Ian, but none of them run to fence-building!
